Certification
Phlebotomy Career Training Academy, LLC offers a national certification examination through the National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) on the day of enrollment. The students will be registered two weeks before the scheduled exam date. The student must complete all hours of school work and tests before sitting for the national exam.
The National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) does not report the results to the state for licensing. Upon completion of the student's national exam, the student will receive their results. The student must pass the national exam with a score of 70% or higher to receive his or her certification, which will be mailed to the student.
Once nationally certified, the student may work anywhere within the United States. The student is responsible for keeping up his or her certification by Continuing Education Units (CEUs) hours. The National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) will notify the student by mail of how many CEU hours are required per year.
